NASA-SSH global mean sea level from simple gridded sea surface height
Global mean sea level change (centimetres) as the area-weighted mean of NASA-SSH simple gridded sea surface height from the reference altimetry missions (TOPEX/Poseidon, the Jason series and Sentinel-6), every 7 days from January 1993, between 66°S and 66°N, with a version smoothed over 60 days. Each map uses 10 days of observations, so successive values overlap slightly. Not adjusted for glacial isostatic adjustment, so its long-term rate reads a little below GIA-adjusted series such as AVISO's; the two are shown as separate lines, never spliced. Earlier values can change by millimetres when the processing improves.

Status
- Programme
- A new cumulative granule is posted weekly (on 7, 14, 21 and 28 September 2026); the 28 September file runs to 22 September 2026. The FY2027 US budget request (April 2026) proposes cutting NASA's Science Mission Directorate by 46% and cancelling Earth science missions; Congress rejected a near-identical proposal for FY2026.

- 2026-10-05: Next weekly granule, if the Monday pattern of September 2026 (granules dated 7, 14, 21 and 28 September) holds.
