Government revenue from carbon taxes and emissions trading (World Bank)

The money governments raised in 2025 from carbon taxes and emissions trading systems worldwide: 107 billion US dollars, about 2 percent more than in 2024 in real terms. The report says almost all of it is raised in high-income countries.
